Cosmetic raw materials

Note: There are many kinds of raw materials for cosmetics, and their properties vary. According to the properties and uses of raw materials for cosmetics, they can be roughly divided into two categories: base raw materials and auxiliary raw materials. The former is a main raw material for cosmetics, which accounts for a large proportion in the cosmetic formula and is the substance that plays the main functional role in cosmetics. The latter plays a role in the formation, stability or imparting color, fragrance and other characteristics of cosmetics. These substances are not used in large quantities in cosmetic formulas, but they are extremely important. Cosmetics are chemical mixtures made from natural, synthetic or extracted substances with different functions as raw materials, and processed through production procedures such as heating, stirring and emulsification.
